This backpack is huge, has room to fit your laptop and several college books or items needed for work, in the main compartment.  The outside compartment is not waterproof.  The zipper makes it water resistant, but can still carry items.  This backpack works like a dry bag for camping.  The top rolls down and clips, keeping everything inside the main compartment dry.  The straps and back are comfortable to wear.  It even has a waist clip to distribute weight better on your back.  However, I think the waist straps could have a little padding on them.  The material it is made with is of good quality but takes time to loosen up so that where it rolls down is a little more comfortable on the neck and shoulders.  

This is originally $89.99 but is on sale for $69.99.  Honestly I wish I would have had this when I was going to college.  Even if this is a huge bag I think it is worth the money.  If you think about it a laptop is worth a pretty penny so if that were to get wet during a storm then that’s a lot of money to fix it, if it can be fixed.  An investment like that is not something I would want wasted and would protect it.
