The Watchers book 1 is a hard book to put down. Deirdra Eden uses words that not only catch the readers attention but lets the imagination flow. You can see what she sees in your minds eye. To me that is the best writing. When I read I want to go someplace I have never been before and she does that from the first page. I grew to love some characters and others I loathed. She has a very unique book series that I highly recommend for for children to adults.
